Twitter Chief Executive Elon Musk said on Wednesday that the end of 2023 would be "good timing" to find someone else to run Twitter when he expects the social media platform to be stable. Musk spoke virtually at the World Government Summit in Dubai and suggested that by late 2021 or early 2022, he could step down from his role as CEO.

Musk stated that it was important for him to stabilize the organization and make sure it was in a financially healthy place with its product roadmap laid out clearly. He also mentioned how he had conducted a poll on Twitter recently asking if he should step down as CEO, and the majority of respondents said yes. Given this feedback, Musk has decided it’s probably best to take a step back from leading Twitter once it is stable around late 2021 or early 2022.

The new leader will have some big shoes to fill since Elon Musk is one of the most famous tech entrepreneurs around right now who has developed many groundbreaking products such as Tesla electric cars, SpaceX rockets, SolarCity solar panels, and Hyperloop transportation systems, among others. It’s clear why so many people were eager for him to stay on at Twitter, but with such an ambitious entrepreneur like himself onboard, there is no doubt he feels like stepping back might be necessary given his other commitments elsewhere in the business and technology world.

At this stage, however, nothing concrete has been decided yet regarding who could potentially replace Elon or what kind of person they would need for this role, but one thing is certain; whoever comes next will have huge expectations placed upon them given what their predecessor achieved during his time leading Twitter into becoming one of the most popular social networks worldwide today with over 350 million active users every month!

In conclusion, therefore, we can see how Elon Musk believes finding someone new by year-end 2023 would give them enough time to prepare themselves adequately before taking up leadership responsibilities at arguably the biggest name amongst all social platforms, even though no firm decision has been made just yet about who might eventually succeed him!
