Phantom Liberty: What to Expect in Cyberpunk 2077's Upcoming Expansion

Cyberpunk 2077 was an eagerly anticipated game and its experienced a turbulent launch. Despite that, the game has managed to win over a sizable fan base. Fans of the game are now eagerly awaiting reports on the upcoming expansion DLC, titled Phantom Liberty. While CD Projekt is reluctant to share new information on the expansion, fans of Cyberpunk are combing the map and game files almost daily in search of clues. 

Recently a Reddit user stumbled upon a potential new clue that might be connected to the upcoming expansion. The user shared a video in which he found in his diary a task called “Casino Warfare” that was assigned to the “%DLC_Main%” category. This suggests that the task could be related to the upcoming expansion. The task would also involve Falco, one of the characters from Edgerunners, an anime series set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, as well as one of the key characters of the base game, Alt Cunningham. 

Fans speculated that the task might have to do with a casino located in the North Oak neighborhood, which was unavailable in the base version of the game. However, due to the fact that the task appeared in the diary after the user updated the mods named CET and archiveXL, it is possible that the appearance of the task was actually the mods' job. In addition, the task is a placeholder for a real mission that will hit the game later. 

In conclusion, we will have to wait a few more months to find out whether Falco will indeed make his way into Phantom Liberty or not. The expansion is expected to debut later this year and will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
