Don't know what Slime Rancher 2 is? Well, let me tell you! This game is the sequel to the very successful Slime Rancher, and it does not disappoint! In Slime Rancher 2, you return to the Far, Far Range to continue your adventures as Beatrix LeBeau, the fearless rancher of all things slimy.

The basic premise of the game is to capture and ranch slimes. These slimes come in all different shapes, sizes, and colors, and each type has its own special abilities. For example, there are pink Phosphor Slimes that can shoot fire, Boom Slimes that can explode, and Lucky Slimes that… well, they’re just really lucky!

There are also new environments to explore in Slime Rancher 2, including the Dry Reef, the Moss Blanket, and the Ancient Ruins. And if that’s not enough, you can also now ranch TWO types of slimes at the same time!

So, what’s not to love about Slime Rancher 2? Well, some people have complained that the game is too easy. I would say that the difficulty depends on how you want to play the game. If you want to just focus on ranching and exploring, then yes, the game is pretty easy. But if you want to try and capture EVERY type of slime, and master their abilities, then the game can be quite challenging.

Another negative is that the game is very short. I would say that it took me about 10 hours to complete the main story, and that’s with taking my time and exploring everything. However, there is a lot of post-game content, including new areas to explore, new slimes to capture, and new challenges to complete.

Verdict

So, should you buy Slime Rancher 2? I would say yes! Even though the game is short and easy, it’s still a lot of fun. And the post-game content will keep you busy for quite some time.
