Brawl Stars review
Brawl Stars is a mobile online game developed by Supercell. The game was released in 2017 and is available on Android and iOS and is free to play. It has more than 100 million downloads in Google Play, with an average rating of 4,2. In the game, you have to choose one of the available heroes and join quick battles against other players in different game modes.
Gameplay: Brawling Stones
Brawl Stars is an action game, which implies fast-paced gameplay. There is a third-person view camera, and you have to move your character around the battlefields and simultaneously shoot out other players. Different heroes have different abilities and require different mastering playstyles. There are many game modes, which are unlocked as you progress through the game: there are team modes, free-for-all modes, and even a soccer mode, where you have to score goals to the enemy’s gate. The gameplay is pretty addicting, and the game is very rewarding at first, as it gives you champions and unlocks new game modes very often, but the longer you play, the less rewarding it gets.
Graphics: Brawl with Style
The visuals are pretty impressive in Brawl Stars: the general style is a bit similar to another Supercell’s project, Clash of Clans. However, in this game, the visuals are much better, and the graphics are more attractive, as what you see on the screen gets more important. The animations are smooth, and there are different visuals for each brawler’s basic attack and for each ability. The battle arenas are also attractive, and there are many of them. The interface is also very good, as it is not overloaded and does not interfere much with the gameplay process. The game is very pleasing to the eye and catches your attention easily, the developers definitely knew what they were doing.
Controls: Get Used to It
Controls might seem a little weird at first, as the brawlers are kind of slow to respond to your commands. There is a little delay in controls, and the brawlers themselves are not that fast to rotate, move and shoot, so the controls are not the best point about Brawl Stars. However, it is possible to get used to them and still enjoy the game a lot.
