Diane Ruth Shewmakers All Love is a very approachable
and easy-to-read guidebook for energetic healing. Shewmaker brings
her knowledge and experience as both a psychotherapist and practitioner/teacher
of more than 10 holistic healing systems to the writing of this
detailed, and well-illustrated volume.
All Love centers on Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki (SSR) and SKHM.
These healing arts were derived from the work of Patrick Zeigler
who first experienced this universal healing energy stream in 1979
as part of a spontaneous initiation in the Great Pyramid. The book
combines well-organized, practical information and advice with deeply
personal accounts of the authors own transformative spiritual
Shewmaker openly offers sacred information, believing that sacred
does not have to mean secret. In the introductory pages she states,
...we are all universal beings equally entitled to freely
access all universal light frequencies and energies without any
form of restriction, judgment or limitation placed on us.
Thus, Shewmaker makes public the healing techniques, symbols and
attunement ceremonies of this energy system that have, until recently,
been available only to initiates.
Part one is a useful introduction to the basics of human energy
anatomy, with concise discussions of the human aura, chakra system,
kundalini energy, and central light column. Shewmaker draws upon
many different sources and cultures, as well as her own broad experience,
to provide an expanded understanding of these concepts. Part two
explores the nature and benefits of SSR and SKHM, explaining how
this sacred universal energy stream works to completely balance
and harmonize an individual, and how it leads to physical wellness,
emotional joy and ultimate enlightenment.
The SKHM Shenu on the books cover is also described as a
powerful tool to help facilitate this enlightenment. The symbolism
of this beautiful and powerful image is examined, including suggestions
for using this image in meditation and healing.
In part three, Shewmaker tackles the difficult question of What
is Healing? She eloquently describes healing as ...the
process that reconnects and restores you to a wholeness and holiness
that fosters balance, health and well-being at all levels including
the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of your being.
The healing process ...includes your interrelationship with
all that exists
as well as the Divine. Shewmaker explores
why people seek healing and the nature of the healing crisis. She
also provides thorough descriptions of the sacred healing symbols
of SSR and clear instructions and illustrations for drawing them.
She outlines the elements of an energy session, including preparation
of the physical space and yourself, communication between practitioner
and client, suggestions for opening and closing prayers or invocations
and how to open your energy body to facilitate channeling of the
healing energy. This part also discusses the use of angelic light
weaving, the breath and sound during a session.
Part four describes the path for further development as a practitioner/teacher
through discussions of how to establish a healing practice, give
attunements and teach. The information offered here should appeal
equally to students, experienced practitioners and teachers.
Excellent resource information is provided in the appendices, including
the complete text for the unified heart chakra meditation, a concise
chronology of the history and development of SSR and SKHM, the complete
text of the meditations used in SKHM and the SSR attunement ceremonies,
and samples of business forms for use by practitioners. A bibliography
and index round off this useful book, and it is no surprise that
All Love is endorsed by best-selling authors and healers
Doreen Virtue, Ph.D., Nick Bunick and Ken Page.
