Sri Karunamayi’s Visit To Portland

Karunamayi Bhagavati Sri Sri Sri Vijayeshwari Devi has been revered as the incarnation of the Divine Mother, Saraswati, Goddess of Knowledge and Creativity. On behalf of humanity, She meditated in a remote forest in India for ten years. She is the embodiment of Compassion and Truth. The universal Source of Knowledge, known as Saraswati, flows through Her as She speaks.

There is a beauty and sweetness in Her teachings. Through different examples She makes people understand easily profound truths which are so hard to realize through different philosophies. Even the worst sinner and confirmed atheist come to Her and surrender to Her. She loves them all and cheers them up with words of hope. Mother says, "We should yearn for the divine spirit with confidence and with a feeling of closeness as to a father and mother." "Our relationship with God should be one of unconditional love. More than in any other relationship, we may rightly and naturally demand a reply from spirit in its aspect as Divine Mother. God is constrained to answer such an appeal, for the essence of a mother is love and forgiveness of her child, no matter how great a sinner he may be."

You are invited to experience the bliss of Her serene presence as She guides us toward spiritual illumination through meditation. Join us for this rare opportunity during Her United States tour. Hear Her message, receive the blessings of the Universal Mother, and know the fullness of her unconditional Love.

Karunamayi will be in Portland on June 9th and 10th at Unity Church of Portland, 4525 SE Stark and 45th. Also, She will be in Seattle on June 14th and 15th at University Unitarian Church, 6556 35th Ave., N.E. In addition, for those who want to deepen their spiritual practice, they can spend three days in the presence of the Divine Mother at Meditation Retreat. This meditation retreat will be held at YMCA Camp Collins, Gresham on June 11-13, 1999. All programs are free admission.
